And we wonder how domainers got themselves in the position where we are abused daily by registrars, drop service, and auction houses.

Very classy post.

I've never heard of you or your company in any domain circle before (other than seeing this blog on Domaining.com), however, I know Andrew to be one of the most respected members of the domainer community. Clearly this is an important issue to many (posted in Tech Crunch/Washington Post yesterday). Godaddy takes the moral high road about kiting, yet Andrew found many trademark registrations owned by this Godaddy company.

I don't see the point of your post, as it just makes you look bad.

@ Johnny: The photo gave me a good laugh :)

Honestly, with how little ethics exist with most of the domaining companies in this industry, maybe some of us are just immune to really caring about stuff like this anymore.

In comparison to domain sniffing or shill bidding, is this really such a big deal?

Wow....I'm sorry you don't see the unethical side to this. conflict of interet, etc... but really your post really just seems like flame bait for upset domainers.

The photo is hilarious, though. I'm not sure where/how you got/made it. It's cool. :)

Completely agree.

Doesn't bother me personally -- if I let a domain drop, it's because I no longer want it. Godaddy is more than reasonable giving you plenty of time after expiration to renew your domain if you actually wanted to keep it.

Besides, we all know anything half decent would end up on Snap/Pool/NameJet anyway, so what's all the whining about? :)
