NameJet appears to be a joint venture between Network Solutions and eNom.

It's been reported that NameJet was registered in Delaware, USA on Oct 3, 2007. A trademark for "NAMEJET" has been filed in the USA by Network Solutions.

History

eNom was founded in Bellevue, Washington in 1997. It has more than 10,000,000 names on its platform. It's parent company, Demand Media, Inc., is based in Los Angeles, USA and is led by former MySpace.com chairman Richard Rosenblatt.

Since the launch of NameJet, eNom's ClubDrop service is no longer offered.
