How To Turn On Geographical Targeting For .CO [Video]
August 5, 5 Comments - Author: Simon JohnsonEarly this morning, Google enabled geographical targeting on the .co domain name extension. This means that you can tell Google that your website is targeting people in other countries (other than Colombia) – which is what .co was originally for.
I’ve created a step-by-step video showing you exactly how to turn on geo targeting for your .co domain name.
If you like the video or have a view in relation to .CO, feel free post a comment and let me know what you think.

Great FREE advice thank you! So clear and to the point.
Your site also looks good too!
Hi, good video, I wasn’t aware of this function.
Digging a little deeper into the stuff learned hat this functionality is specific for non country-coded top-level domains. So for .ca, .de etc. Google already has associated this domains with a geographic region.
What however is strange in the presented video, because .co is originally targeted on Columbia. Do you know why you can change the geographic target for a .co domain?
Thanks it was a great tip!
hi simon, nice job with video
Didn’t know this is possible. I will definitely buy my self a .co now. I had ny eyes on one of them for some time, but didn’t buy it because of seo factor.
